Description
In partnership with Grange Insurance, this session provides a practical overview of risk management in schools.
Designed for Business Managers, Risk Managers and IT teams, it focuses on responding effectively to incidents such as OHS and workers compensation claims, cyber-security breaches, and other operational risks.
Participants will learn how to act decisively to minimise damage and protect their school’s operations and reputation.

Diana is the current Consultant, School Business Management, having joined AISWA in June 2019 as the Business Practices and Contracts Manager, and more recently working in the Finance Directorate. Diana is a qualified CPA Accountant, having worked as a Business Manager for a K-12 Day & Boarding school for 15 years.
Dean Cook
Dean Cook began his career at QBE Insurance in 2001, where he gained extensive experience as a commercial underwriter. In 2006, he transitioned to a general insurance brokerage in Perth, managing a significant portfolio of commercial clients. In December 2011, Dean became an Authorised Representative at Grange Insurance Solutions and was appointed Director of Grange on January 1, 2016. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and advice to his clients as well as having a keen focus on driving the cultural values and goals of the company.
