Building Expertise - Coaching for Certification

Description

This course is aimed at those who have responsibility for supporting and developing their colleagues' classroom practice. It focuses on providing participants with an in-depth understanding of the growth of teaching expertise and providing a solid model for a collegial coaching frame.

Over the course of three days, participants will develop understandings:

- in-depth exploration of Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

- the progression of teaching expertise

- the structuring of quality feedback that invites reflective and intentional practice
