School / Educational Psychologist

St Stephen's School is inviting applications from qualified and experienced School/Educational Psychologists (maternity leave cover) commencing Term 1, 2021 until end Term 3, 2021. There is a possibility to commence Term 4, 2020 by negotiation.The position was previously advertised at 0.4FTE/2 days but will now be working 0.8FTE/4 days per week.The Educational Psychologist will:-

• provide the best possible outcomes for students who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioural, learning difficulties and mental health issues   
• provide a child and adolescent psychological service in the school and to work with other staff to support students and families 
• facilitate access, participation and to maximise educational outcomes for students, and to utilise psychological expertise in education and learning to support and build the capacity of the school community toward the same goals.
