Home Economics Technician

We have an exciting  opportunity available at our Carramar Campus for a part time (30 hours per week) Home Economics Technician for Term 1 and 2, 2022.The Home Economics Technician assists with the efficient running of the Home Economics learning facilities in the School, which includes the cooking facilities, preparation area and the textiles room. The position also includes the ongoing support of the Home Economics teachers through the preparation and purchasing of foods, material, equipment and utensils and helping to monitor the facilities and equipment usage from an operational and Occupational Health and Safety point of view. It also entails the providing of materials and other resources in class that would normally take the teacher away from the teaching task at hand.
