Join the dedicated team at South Coast Baptist College Childcare Centre as a Certificate III Educator! You’ll play a crucial role in nurturing and educating children in a faith-based environment that promotes holistic growth and development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Approved ACECQA Cert III Early Childhood Education.
- HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
- Qualified in child protection approved by ECRU, with experience in education and care services, and knowledge of National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework/Framework for School Age Care.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, children's learning documentation, leadership skills, and knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, IT use, and knowledge of inclusion support processes, statutory regulations, and the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS).
Essential Criteria:
- To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To attend Church on a regular basis and model Christian beliefs, behaviour and practices.
- To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
- Build co-operative and supportive relationships with staff, students and parents.
- Work to ensure personal best practice.
- Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
- Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
- Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
- Working With Children Card.
