Apprenticeships and Traineeships
This website is intended to provide an overview of the apprenticeship and traineeship system in Western Australia. The Department of Education and Training updates this website regularly to ensure it is relevant and current.

Australian Apprenticeships
Australian Apprenticeships is the new name for the scheme formerly known as 'New Apprenticeships'. Under the scheme the Australian Government incentives and personal benefits program are still the same. Australian Apprenticeships still encompass all apprenticeships and traineeships. They combine time at work with training and can be full-time, part-time or school-based Australian Apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age and do not require any entry qualifications. You can be a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce or simply wishing to change careers.

Department of the Premier and Cabinet
If you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander currently residing in Western Australia you are eligible to apply for the Department of Premier and Cabinet Entry Level Employment Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Indigenous Youth Mobility Programme (IYMP) - Nyaarla Projects
