This session is essential and highly recommended for all staff that are involved in applying for the Special Education Supplementary Per Capita Grant (IE Funding), as it will assist you in fully understanding the requirements and process in order to gain maximum opportunity for funding for students with disabilities. 

In this session we will be reviewing the recently updated criteria and documentation requirements. The online funding process will also be clearly explained with time for questions and discussion.

Tania Wray (AISWA Staff)

Inclusive Education Consultant

Tania Wray is an experienced Inclusive Education Consultant at AISWA and currently supports schools with high quality consultancy, advice and professional learning in the areas of Inclusive Education, Child Protection, disability legislation, diversity/differentiation, special education and home to school transition. Tania is a qualified Primary Teacher and Specialist Teacher (Disability/Vision Impairment) and has extensive teaching and leadership experience in Early Childhood Intervention, Primary settings and special educational schools (ECE/Primary/Secondary). This includes past specialist team leadership and consultancy support to WA schools for students with Sensory Impairments (Vision/DeafBlind/HI). Tania is qualified to provide training in Protective Behaviours (KS:CPC, PB West), Early Childhood Intervention Inclusion, Sensory Disability, Team-Teach and is currently studying Statutory Child Protection. As a South Pacific Educators in Vision Impairment (SPEVI) Member, Tania is an accomplished National and South Pacific conference speaker on disability and sensory impairments.
