Description
Keeping Safe aims to help children and students from preschool to senior secondary learn to recognise abuse and develop ways of protecting themselves from abuse. In wider terms Keeping Safe covers rights, relationships, responsibilities and ethical behaviour.
Due to the subject matter, children (under 18 years) are not permitted to attend.

Kate Stannard (AISWA Staff)
Inclusive Education Consultant
Kate Stannard joined the Inclusive Education team at AISWA in February 2017. She studied to be a Primary teacher in London, teaching there for a number of years before moving to Perth in 2005. Through her time in the classroom, Kate has developed a passion to see all students actively engaged with their own learning. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and English Literature, a Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and a Masters of Education (Special Learning Needs).
Rebecca Delaney (AISWA Staff)
Coordinator Inclusive Education
Rebecca Delaney is an Inclusive Consultant for AISWA. Her expertise in Special and Inclusive Education has spanned over twenty five years both in the United Kingdom and Australia. Working in a variety of roles such as a specialist support assistant, teacher, tutor and Head of Department she has gained valuable training and knowledge, working alongside other professionals in Special Education. She has also experience in the field of Gifted Education and Early Childhood and has utilised this in a variety of different contexts in her career.
