Description

New advances in neuroscience are unlocking the secrets of why children behave the way they do and why it is so hard at times for them to behave the way we would like.  Self-regulation skills are the mental processes that allow children to manage arousal levels, emotions, attention and be socially successful.

You will gain:

  • An understanding of the development of self-regulation
  • The ability to reframe challenging behaviours and understand the underlying skills deficits.
  • Practical strategies to assist the development of self-regulation skills.
