2019 ATAR course examinations - Examining panel applications | Applications must be received no later than 5pm on Friday, 19 October 2018.
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) seeks applications from current and retired teachers and TAFE and university lecturers to participate in the development of the 2019 ATAR course examinations. Positions that may be available for all examining panel are:
- Chief Examiner
- Examine
- Independent Reviewer
- Paper Checker

Notre Dame Primary and Middle Years Maths Education Conference | February 1, 2019
This is the fifth biennial Education Conference offered by the School Of Education at Notre Dame. In 2019 the conference is returning to its original format of a Mathematics Education Conference. Aimed at early years, primary and middle years’ teachers of mathematics, the conference offers an impressive list of speakers including the popular, regular presenters Dr Paul Swan and Charles Lovitt.

Dinner with Mindful Meditation Australia (MMA)
MMA, a not-for-profit philanthropically funded organisation that delivers mindfulness training to Australian educators is hosting a complimentary dinner at Fraser’s State Reception Centre on 1 November. This is an invitation-only free event. Fifteen tickets have been extended to the Independent Schools Committee and any principals that might be interested. Tickets are first come first serve.
The evening will feature dinner and drinks, Ted talk by renowned mindfulness expert Dr Richard Chambers, MMA’s school-based research announcement, new training announcement, and free training giveaway to all attendees.

Diabetes Australia - Diabetes in Schools Program
Diabetes Australia is collaborating with the Australian Government to develop and deliver a new nationally consistent program to support type 1 diabetes management in all schools. The Hon Greg Hunt MP, Federal Minister for Health, has made available over $6 million of National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) funding to support this important initiative.
