USING THE POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT TEMPLATE.

Positive Partnerships (Autism Spectrum Australia) have created a free online module which looks at how to address scenarios that might occur in the school and home environments for students who are on the Autism Spectrum. Created in partnership with the Aspect Behaviour team to support schools, organisations and parents with using the Positive Behaviour Support structure, the module includes detailed information on the possible reasons and triggers for behaviours and how to work towards changing behaviour patterns. Please visit the website for more information.

NCCD Moderation Workshop |WEDNESDAY 17 May 2017|  09:00am - 11.00am |

In 2015, all Independent Schools in Western Australia participated in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data for School Students with Disability (NCCD). Participation in the NCCD is compulsory throughout Australia in 2017.

This Moderation Workshop is designed to give key school personnel an increased level of confidence and consistency when collecting evidence and making decisions about student data for the NCCD. There will be a focus on decision-making for levels of adjustment, student inclusion in the NCCD, and collection and types of documentation to support school data.For more information please click the below link.

2017 PACIFIC RIM INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CAMP, JAPAN | Monday 7 August 2017 to Tuesday 22 August 2017.

ISCA has received an invitation to nominate a male student between 14 and 17 years of age (as of 1 August 2017) to attend the 2017 Pacific Rim International Student Camp (PRIC). PRIC is a scholarship camp program that is held annually to provide a forum of international exchange for youths of the Pacific Rim region. Students who meet the criteria can apply by writing an essay and providing supporting documentation.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED SEXUAL ABUSE | 13TH & 14TH JUNE 2017.

This interactive two day workshop will explore the impact of sexual abuse on children, adolescents and their families and look at the dynamics of sexual abuse by adult offenders compared to children/young people who engage in sexually inappropriate activities with other children/young people.

The Grand Lodge of WA Freemasons is delighted to announce that the Speak Up Award will resume this year after circumstances forced its postponement last year. The Speak Up Award is a public speaking competition for Years 4, 5 and 6 students.
