Bushfire Recovery Response
Bushfires have a profound impact on communities. Many schools, children, and their families will be affected by the current crisis in the Perth area. While the physical impact of bushfire is obvious, the mental health impact may not be. The AISWA School Psychology Service has compiled a suite of resources to support schools and families in the aftermath of the fires. We recommend you visit the new Bushfire Recovery Response page regularly as resources and links will continue to be updated.

The student program can be implemented into your curriculum and can be completed during class time or independently. Jo and the AISWA Technologies team will provide support throughout the program's duration. AISWA’s Graduate to Proficient Course for Early Career Teachers & Mentor Training
A reminder that AISWA is once again offering a five day course for early career teachers in the first (or second year) of practice. This research based course focuses on providing support, information and a network to grow a graduate teacher’s practice in their first years of teaching. It culminates in them moving from provisional registration to full registration with the TRBWA. As a part of this course we ask schools to provide a school based mentor (we also offer a day’s training for them). Three of the five days occur in term time the other two days take place during school holidays.
The dates for the Graduate to Proficient Course are: 16/2, 17/2, 16/4, 5/7, 18/10
