Bushfire Patrol (Redeveloped bushfire program for schools)

Department of Fire and Emergency Services has recently redeveloped its school education program Bushfire Patrol, for students in Years 4 – 6.  (Resources for Pre-Primary to Year 3 will be released in readiness for Term 1, 2019).
Bushfire Patrol is a Western Australian curriculum-linked primary school resource that aims to provide teachers in the lower half of this state (including and south of Geraldton) with geographically and culturally appropriate resources to help teach students about bushfire. This exciting new re-released program will provide students with the knowledge and skills on how to prevent, prepare for and respond to bushfires in their communities. NGS Super Virtual Debating 2019

In 2019 The Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW) will coordinate the NGS Super National Virtual Debating Competition. AISNSW will also make every attempt to structure all competitions in 2019 as ‘double elimination’. This means schools must lose twice to be eliminated and will in most cases have 3 or more debates. The EOI registers your serious intent only and is not a final confirmation. After the EOI process, schools will be made an offer and then payment of fees will confirm entry.
