Nature Pedagogy and Practice - Workshop 1
AISWA Early Childhood are offering a series of workshops aimed at providing educators with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make nature pedagogy a sustainable and ongoing part of their early childhood classroom practice. Workshops will be run by educators and nature pedagogues who have a recognised expertise in nature play.

What is a Socratic Circle?
Socratic Circles derive from the work of the ancient Greek philosopher, Socrates. Socrates believed that philosophical engagement with knowledge and critical thought can achieve practical outcomes that contribute to the greater well-being of humanity. In a Socratic Circle, participants explore contemporary knowledge and are facilitated to develop their wisdom through deep engagement and critical reasoning.
