Cluedunnit Kids 2022 – Year 6 and Split Year 5/6 Classes

Have fun, investigate, ask questions and get creative! In 2021, 452 students in 84 teams from 26 metro and regional schools participated in Cluedunnit Kids. Student teams investigate a fictional criminal offence to identify the prime suspect. A brief of evidence provides clues and students ask questions to get further evidence to identify the prime suspect and eliminate the other suspects. Each team then creates and submits their findings in a creative way of their choosing. Cluedunnit Kids addresses WA Curriculum General Capabilities and provides an opportunity for students to apply the core HaSS Skills. Further information can be found Here

New course for students to become summer swimming instructors

On Tuesday, 12 October 2021, the Minister for Education and Training announced the opportunity for Year 12 students to obtain accredited swimming instructor qualifications free of charge.

This will enable current Year 12 students enrolled in either a public or non- government school, including those students on a Notice of Arrangement and who are 17 years of age or older to register for a fully-funded course to obtain an accredited swimming teacher and CPR qualifications.
Students do not require a level of swimming stage to be eligible for the course, however, they must be confident in the water.
Support for students throughout the course will be provided through ongoing support and mentoring. On completion, students can then apply for swimming instructor positions across the State. For more information please click Here
