TRBWA Annual Fees Due 31 March 2019 

All registered teachers are required to pay the TRBWA annual fee of $90.50 by 31 March 2019. All registered teachers have been mailed a hardcopy invoice and will receive an email explaining the purpose of the invoice, options and methods for payment, and penalties for a late or missed payment. 
Principals and administrators are able to check on the payment status of teachers at their school by logging on to the Teacher Register Information Professional and reviewing the ‘Annual Fee Due’ column. If you require more information about the TRBWA annual fee, please visit the Teachers Registration Board website.

Annual PESTA PE Studies Teachers PL | Friday, 1 March 2019

Highly acclaimed teaching and research staff from Murdoch University and UWA will again deliver the latest science and content specific to the teaching of ATAR Physical Education Studies. Let’s Pretend Play: Enhancing Pretend Play in the Classroom | Monday, February 25, 2019
In this session, the Enhanced Learning team will demonstrate the power of carefully selecting pretend play scenarios to develop and improve foundation skills. Scenarios will be presented highlighting outcomes across the three key purposes of pretend play for use with the whole class, small groups and individuals. Case examples will demonstrate scenarios that form the perfect vehicle for fun, engaging learning with scope to progress movement, oral language, narratives, early literacy, numeracy and conversation skills. Highly Recommended Digital Technologies Subject PL 

A two-day Yrs 5-10 Digital Technologies (the WA Curriculum subject) PL is being kindly hosted by St Hilda’s AGS in Mosman Park on 25-26 February.
