EDUCATION TAX REFUND

As announced in the 2008-09 Budget, families will be able to claim a 50 per cent Education Tax Refund from 1 July 2008.  The aim of the Education Tax Refund is to help families meet the costs of educating their children and ensure that they have access to the resources needed to improve educational outcomes. The Commonwealth department of the Treasury released a fact sheet providing details of the Refund.

Cyber Safety Update 2008

Science, Ethics and Religion

A one day conference co-hosted by Dr Peter Vardy and Mrs Julie Arliss and sponsored by Christ Church Grammar School and the Centre for Ethics will be held on Wednesday 29th August at Claremont Yacht Club. The registration fee is $150.


Use of Creative Commons resources in schools

The Creative Commons provides an alternative licensing system so that authors, musicians and other creators can grant rights to the public to use their work without payment but still retain control over their copyright material.
