Sustainable Schools

AuSSI-WA resources:
The Key Elements Rubric, one of three whole-school review, planning and celebration ‘tools’, has recently been reviewed and updated. Based on feedback from schools, the original rubric has now been separated into three individual rubrics as follows:
1. Leadership;
2. Teaching and Learning; and
3. Community.
The revised rubrics are easier to navigate and interpret, and provide greater emphasis on key concepts such as sustainability being a context for teaching and learning as opposed to an ‘add on’.
Rubrics can be found on the project website at: http://det.wa.edu.au/curriculumsupport/sustainableschools/detcms/navigation/aussi-wa-toolkit/review-plan-and-celebrate/ or please click here for further information.
