National Safe Schools' Week represents the culmination of activities that have been developed by schools around Australia through the National Safe Schools' Framework.
The 2007 National Safe Schools Week will be celebrated from Friday May 25 to Friday 1 June this year.
The theme for the 2007 National Safe Schools Week is "Creating safe and happy schools - free from bullying"
Key Event Dates for the 2007 National Safe Schools Week include:
- Official Launch on Thursday 24 May in Canberra.
- Parent Forum on Sunday 27 May in Adelaide.
- Teacher Education Event on Monday and Tuesday 28-29 May on the Gold Coast.
- National Activity on Wednesday 30 May occurring nationwide.
- Student Forum on Thursday and Friday 31 May - 1 June in Canberra.
