AISWA ITeP
As part of the Australian Government's National Secondary School Computer Fund, DEEWR has encouraged sectors and jurisdictions where possible, to take advantage of bulk purchasing arrangements to achieve the best outcomes for schools. To this end, AISWA has developed in conjunction with Winthrop Australia an IT procurement place within the AISWA website named "ITeP".
AISWA has brokered arrangements with manufacturers and resellers for the sale of IT equipment and services in line with those offered under the terms of the WA Department of Treasury and Finance-Common Use agreement (CUA) for IT products. CUA pricing is the bulk purchasing arrangement used by all WA state departments for IT procurement.
Only manufacturers or resellers that agree to offer prices through a Supplier Service Level Agreement (SSLA) equal or better to CUA pricing will submit products on the ITeP website.
Supplier Service Level Agreements (SSLA) covers the following products and services;
- Hardware: desktop, notebooks and servers
- Peripherals: scanners, projectors and a\v equipment
- Services: ICT strategic planning, infrastructure scoping, training
Winthrop Australia will manage the procurement cycle on behalf of AISWA. They will ensure manufacturers and resellers comply with all aspects of the SSLA's including, pricing, delivery, warranty and service. In addition, Winthrop Australia will provide AISWA schools an online job logging and tracking service as part of their overall management responsibilities.
Access for AISWA members to the ITeP area is through the School Data Centre. If you cannot view the ITeP link when you login, contact the AISWA website administrator at your school.
